Many people have known the words “Internet Addiction” before, but some people do not realize that they have this psychological problem. Bratter and Forest (2008) define addictions as “a behavior pattern of compulsive drug use characterized by overwhelming involvement …… with the use of a drug use of adrug and the securing of the supply, as well as the tendency to relapse after completion of withdrawal.” That is a person can not live without the Internet. If he/ she has to be away from it, he/ she will shake or be in chaos. People can buy things, chatting, relaxing on the Internet at home. They can do anything by using their fingers to type or click. Because of this, people create a new word “home boy” to describe such people.
Socialization contributes to the Internet Addiction. And this is the most important cause of it. Formerly, people interact with others by calling, meeting, or dating. We do not say they are addicting. But now, people waste their time to chat, to exchange information, to support what they like on the Internet. Chatting on the Internet, actually , is a very addicted behavior. Another big cause is the progress of the technology. With the multi-function of the Internet, people can do anything on the Internet. If you want to shop, to see a game, to watch a movie, you do not have to go out. The only thing you have to do is to turn on your computer and surf the Internet. Human beings are lazy, if they can sit down, they do not stand up.
The solution to cure the Internet Addiction is to stay away from the Internet. Those who are addicted to the Internet can plan to go to have some outdoor activities, such as having a picnic or just jogging. The main purpose is to make these people leave computers, just like formal people. We hope finally they do not rely om the Internet anymore.
Internet Addiction can cause many problems. For examples, there was a 43-year-old woman who was addicted by the Internet. She stopped working, and even gave up attending any social activities. She kept her children and her husband at a distance. This is only one of the incidents. However, it would be a tragedy by Internet Addiction. I think this would not be the beginning, and would not be the end, too. Internet Addiction can cause sociological problems. Maybe it seems crummy, but it still can form many difficulties. We should put emphasis on the Internet Addiction problems. If we ignore how important it is, we will regret some day.

The night market

Today I went to the night market beside the university for the teacher in the future with my boyfriend. I have only been there for once. It is very strange that I live in Taipei for nearly 20 years, but I only went there for once. So I asked my boyfriend to take me there. I love there food very much. We had steak, red beans cookies, takoyaki, and ice shavings. I was satisfied. In fact, my boyfriend and I wanted to eat the most famous beef noodles in Taipei when we passed by it. I tell him that he should taste once.(Because his home is not in Taipei.) Unfortunately, it did not open. I hopenext time we can eat it.

Basketball game

Yesterday It was the basketball game. I am the maneger of the team so I went to cheer up and to take down the record for each teamplayer. I love to watch them to have a game because It is so exciting. In fact, when they have a training usually, I always feel bored. I can only sit at the side of the ground and watch. I can not do anything. Oh! I should stop complaining. I think the old boys are very kind and every one treats me well. Every time when I watch their game, I always feel nervous. I want them to play well and win the compaign. The compaign yesterday played well at first. But the opponent came up with us quickly. In the end, we still won.

Free writing

I am MIN. Hello every body. Today I want to say the place that I love to go to. I hope you would like this. The first place that I want to go is the beach and run around the coach. I want to play in the see. Facing the winds is very comfortable. Wow~~it’s really unbelievable…
Maybe there has big sun that I can’t open my eye…if anybody want to go there too, and you can go there with me..The next place I want to go is going to the mountain…I can watch so many beautiful flower as I wish.. this is really a good idea…but if it rains I can’t go, That is why I hate rain. The flower is one of the my favorite thing in my life, because the flower is presented beautiful. Ya!! Hello moto! I love English class!

The Incredibles

Today I went to the library to see the movie with my boyfriend again. This time we saw "The Incredibles". In fact, I have seen this movie twice. But I think this movie is very classical, I recommanded my boyfriend to see it. I love this movie very much. It turned the old impression of the super man into a new style. Although this is the third times I saw it, I still think it is very funny and interesting.

Dj Vu

Last Tuesday, the Enlish teacher let us watch a movie, Dj Vu, featured by Denzel Washington. Denzel Washington is one of my favorite acter. The movie is telling a story that a cruise ship was bombed by a terrorist. A police, played by Denzel Washington, started to check up the reason. They found a girll dead not because of the bomb. He began to know the girl, even, I think, fell in love with her. In the end, he went back to save the girl and finally he did it. But I think the movie the most special place is the arrangement of the movie. Although it played all in English, I can stll catch the summary. I think it is a good movie. If I have a chance to see it again, I will be glad.

Bali

I went to Bali with my boyfriend last Saturday. The reason we went there is that we went to Tamsui so many times, so we decided to go to the other side of the river, Bali. We got there at about 11. Unfortunately, the weather that day was very well. We changed our plan to go to the Shihsanhang Museum of Archaeology first because of the air conditioner. We stayed there until about three o'clock. Then we took the bus back to the dusk to ride the bike. I had not ridden a bike for over five years; in case that I would hit other people, we decided to ride the bike to work in concert(協力車). That was a very interesting experience. In the end, we stopped at a bridge to see the sea to watch the sun set. Although the sun was covered by the clouds when it reached the ground, that I could see with him made me happy. Finally, we went back to Tamsui. It was a pity that we did not fire the fireworks. Maybe next time we can go to another side to have fun.
